Begriffe wie IoT, KI oder SmartHome sind in aller Munde. Doch welche Rolle spielt eigentlich das Internet der Dinge (IoT) in der Trinkwasseraufbereitung? Und was machen wir bei Mann+Hummel/Seccua in diesem Bereich?
Seccua war einer der Wegbereiter bei der Steuerung und Überwachung von Filtrationsprozessen über das Internet. Als das Schlagwort von „Industry 4.0“ Mitte des letzten Jahrzehnts aufkam, hatte Seccua bereits die automatisierte Funktionsüberwachung der anfallenden Prozesse in seine Filtrationsanlagen für die öffentliche Trinkwasserversorgung integriert – Stichwort ‚Preventive Maintenance’ (Vorbeugende Wartung). Seccua-Anlagen verfügten über eine branchenführende intelligente Steuerung für einen vollautomatischen Betrieb des Systems, einschließlich vollautomatischer und hochauflösender Membranüberwachung („Integritätstest“), der Alarmierung auch auf Mobilfunkgeräte und des Remote-Zugriffs.
Heute hält die Digitalisierung zunehmend auch im Haustechnikbereich Einzug – Stichwort SmartHome. Basierend auf Technologien wie dem Internet der Dinge (IoT) und/oder künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) automatisieren und überwachen SmartHome Devices Prozesse wie Heizen/Klimatisieren, Sicherheit oder Beleuchtung. Sie sind einfach zu bedienen und können je nach Wunsch und Bedarf der Endverbraucher via Smartphone-App überwacht und gesteuert werden.
Unsere kommende Generation von Filtrationsanlagen für dem Heimbereich – Seccua UH15 – zielt genau in diese Richtung und lässt SmartHome auch für Ihr Trinkwasser Wirklichkeit werden. Intelligente Sensoren in der Filteranlage überwachen die Reinigungsqualität und Parameter wie Temperatur, Verbrauch, Druck, etc. und liefern aktuelle Verbrauchs- und Prozessdaten an eine Smartphone-App, über die die Anlage auch remote gesteuert werden kann. Das System kann auch Störfälle wie Leckagen oder einen Wasserrohrbruch feststellen und alarmieren. Auch wenn ein Filtermedium getauscht werden muss, geben die Sensoren eine Benachrichtigung ans Smartphone. Auch Servicepartner können remote auf die Anlage zugreifen und Fehleranalysen und Fernwartungen durchführen.
Aktuell durchläuft unser Neuprodukt die finale Field Test Phase, um wirklich ein perfektes Produkt anzubieten und sämtliche Kundenwünsche abzudecken. Sie dürfen also gespannt sein auf die neue Seccua UH15, die Mann+Hummel in Kürze vorstellen wird.
Smart Filtration
Terms like IoT, AI or Smart Home are on everyone’s lips. But what role does the Internet of Things (IoT) actually play in drinking water treatment? And what are we doing at Mann+Hummel/Seccua in this area?
Seccua was one of the pioneers in controlling and monitoring filtration processes via the Internet. When the buzzword „Industry 4.0“ emerged in the middle of the last decade, Seccua had already integrated automated function monitoring of the processes involved into its filtration plants for public drinking water supply – keyword ‚Preventive Maintenance‘. Seccua filtration systems had an industry-leading intelligent control system for fully automated operation of the system, including fully automatic and high-resolution membrane monitoring (‚integrity test‘), alarming also on mobile devices and remote access.
Today, digitalization is increasingly making its way into the home automation sector – keyword Smart Home. Based on technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and/or artificial intelligence (AI), Smart Home devices automate and monitor processes such as heating/air conditioning, security or lighting. They are easy to operate and can be monitored and controlled via smartphone app according to the end user’s wishes and needs.
Our upcoming generation of filtration systems for the home – Seccua UH15 – aims exactly in this direction and makes Smart Home a reality for your drinking water as well. Intelligent sensors in the filtration system monitor the purification quality and parameters such as temperature, consumptions, pressure, etc. and deliver current consumption and process data to a smartphone app, which can also be used to control the system remotely. The system can also detect and alert to malfunctions such as leaks or a burst water pipe. Even if a filter medium needs to be replaced, the sensors send a notification to the smartphone. Service partners can also access the system remotely and carry out error analyses and remote maintenance.
Currently, our new product is going through the final field test phase in order to really offer a perfect product and to cover all customer requirements. So you can look forward to the new Seccua UH15, which Mann+Hummel will be presenting shortly.
